Hougham battery/plotting room - 8/9/07

Visited with Monk and Jackal.

I went up to have a look at this with ali about 6 months ago, I had to dig the hatch out so it would open and even after half an hours digging and almost giving myself a hernia the bastarding thing would only open about a foot and a half, plus the fact there was a big bastard funnel web lookalike spider guarding the entrance so I gave it a miss.

That is until yesterday after bailing out on the deep shelter at lydden spout, I revisited with the monk and jackal, after some pissing about with the hatch we managed to get it open enough to climb down.....

Nearly wimped out of this one, the spiders on the inside of the hatch are stuff of nightmares, for me anyway, one thing i do know is, i can get down a ladder in point 1 of a second :D
