We visited Lennox Castle early on saturday morning. The castle is the remaining building after a large mental hospital was demolished.
It is in an awful state of repair - most of the floors have fallen through, large pieces of masonry sit on the lowest level where they have fallen sixty feet through several floors. Nonetheless, if you like decay, you will like this place. Surprisingly, it is almost untouched by fire, graffiti or vandalism.
The views from the roof are also pretty good.
