Went back to some drains I've already reported about to take some better snaps and to keep my underground appetite satisfied :)
First is the Tang Hall Beck in York, a rather random decision to go at 3am, it seemed like a better option than going to bed!
Crouchy side pipe and weird ladder that you couldn't pay me to climb

2nd side pipe

Thought there was loads of brick down there, but turns out it's only actually 20m worth

I was passing through Stoke a couple of times over the last few days so I took the opportunity to make some revisits. First is chasm. Got past the deep bit (just) with some dodgy climbing on the banks, but then bottled it soon after when it got like something out of a horror movie (ancient dodgy looking ceilings, debris everywhere, deep sticky silt, rats, spiders). Don't normally get creeped out by places but it was just a bit too much that day. Only got 1 shot as I just wanted to get the hell out, but my new uber light worked wonders :)

Then I visited kinder surprise. Absolutely love this place, the decayed brickwork is absolutely amazing! It's only a 900m tunnel but I spent like 3 hours down there, think I'll take a folding chair to relax on next time!

More tunnel

And now for something completely different! Incredible to think this is only 10m downstream from the brick sections.

Then finally I went to visit blood creek. Only just thought of that name, but it seems rather obvious now. Pretty naff photos from here.

The water is never very deep but is insanely fast in some places.

First cso chamber

Sewer that runs through second cso chamber. I think it might be possible to carry on up the main drain by going up this sewer for a short while, but not for me right now thanks :p

And finally the reason for the name...what happens to the stream after walking through the drain thanks to the masses of rust deposits on the bottom of the pipe ...not too subtle...oops. Hope I didn't kill any wildlife :o

So it was a pretty hasty retreat from there!
