Passing through Stoke I thought it was about time I checked out a couple of drains that have already been explored. I had planned to do 3 drains today, but as usual I spent too long taking photos and my plans soon went out the window. Only managed one drain in the end :gay
Big thanks to Jondoe on uer for the location
The outfall for this drain empties into the Stoke Mega, a big drainage channel that runs right through the city centre. Chasm, Inferno and another I found which is unexplored also empty into this channel and apparently it can get quite mental when it rains. This photo was actually taken on the way out, it was midday when I went in...oops :p

The drain starts as a stoopy 5ft5 rectangular brick tunnel. A short way in it splits off into two short 5ft rcps

Which soon merge again!

A bit further on, the box changes to a 7ft rcp. There are a number of rectangular chambers along the way, including this really nice one with a grill at the top (testing out my converter lens :))

After a small junction, the main pipe shrinks to a 6ft rcp, then rounds a few corners before ending in a cso chamber. The sewer is just on the other side of the wall on the right

Me sitting on the steps ;)

A short but sweet drain, really glad I managed to check it out finally :)
