Chinnor Cement Works - 20\07\06

Visited here yesterday with Little Elvis and Sick. Dont want to start on any negatives but i wasnt impressed to be honest. Probally because i was expecting something like Shoreham which was stupidly big and stupidly high, when i got there i had the feeling. "oh is this it". But never mind.

If you look at it in a different way it was pretty good. We had to choose the hottest day of the year to do this :) and on the way in we had to walk accross the old pits which felt like walking accross the sahara! When we finally got there finding away on to high ground was troublesome but easily overcome. I wanted to go see the train as i hadnt explored one before so it sounded like great fun, it was too. i think the group opinion was that they had started to restore it and the gave up :).

EDIT : Dont get me wrong i still enjoyed it i just thought it would be different
