Me n Tidgar met up with STeALtH and Lynton today to visit the Senic Railway and Air Raid tunnels (section one). Will start by saying thanks guys, was a great trip out, much appreciated u showin us round.
Well if you want the history of this site theres tons of stuff elsewhere that will be alot more accurate. The Senic Railway runs about about 1 n a 1/2 miles from dumpton right up to the seafront. From the railway tunnel you can gain entry to section one of the air raid tunnels. Shown Below is a *Very* approximate map of the accsessible tunnel.

As me and Tidgar spent so long looking by ourselves for an entrance i thourght id share my knowledge of them to help people who searchin for known entrances:

North Portal Outside:

Can be found at the site of the old railway line. if you look on google maps it is easy enough to find. its along salisbury avenue.
North Portal Inside:

the north portal is bricked up with 12 inch blocks then filled with concreate. to make this worse there is also iron pannles covering the first 8 feet or so, and over the whole wall is a metal mesh.

Hereson Road Inside:

Hereson Road outside:
is now a car shop along hereson road, just oposite st davids. entrance is backfilled and coverd in concrete. no picture available as the is some security around the car lot so we didnt want to go looking suspicious heh

Dumpton Inside:

the inside is a stairset topped with slabs, above this is a regular pavement.
Dumpton outside:
on dumpton park drive, outside is paved over as it used to lead out onto the street. i guess the proof is that when i was under the slabs i could hear footsteps from above. for a while we thorght it to be a little box room in the synagogue grounds itself but we were wrong heh

South Portal inside:

from the inside you can see through the cracks in the door, but no through way is possible as...
South portal outside:
is on the esplanard and is very easy to find. it has a heavy iron door and is, for lack of a better word, impenetrable. alarmed too aparently, thats if you can get over the 8 ft intruder repeling spiked fence.

Arklow Square inside-ish:

i didnt get a pic of this one for some reason, but i assure you that over the bricked up door way it looks much the same as the st lukes
Arklow Square oustside:
this can be identified by a brickwall with a section of newer looking bricks. i did have a picture but seem to have lost it. theres a few around on the web, try a google image search heh

St Lukes inside:

inside is vey wet, you have to climb through a hole in a wall to see it. it is the same as the dumpton entrance, the way its blocked.
St Lukes outside:
can be recognised by a discoloured patch of grass. we didnt find this outside as its winter and the rectangle can only be seen during summer aparently.
