Dover - Grand Shaft - 04.01.08

hey me n tidgar hit the grand shaft today. its an interesting one but not huge. it consists of 3 spiral staircases leading down a large vertical shaft and was built as a way to get troops from the barracks to the front as fast as possible. cheers to stealth and monk for the info ;) heres the pictures:
