Winchester ROC No.14 Group HQ

This has been on the local list for ages, finally got around to it today.

Subbrit map reference is miles away, and god knows what they were taking pictures of :confused:

Anyway, this is the correct place according to the planning permission on the gate, Grade 2 listed as well. It's going to be converted to a few flats, with some new houses dotted around. Bloody horrible, but never mind.

It's a bit graffed up, but quite sound. Here's some external pictures, including one of the shed-like sentry post...

Onto the inside. The outbuildings, all connected to the centre, included a kitchen, conference room, HR, toilets, and best of all - the key room. This has a hook for each set of ROC bunker keys in its command, and a label with each name on... Amesbury, Alderbury, Hurstbourne Tarrant etc. Superb...

Very very dark and partly painted with matt paint... it took 30 second exposures with two maglites blazing to get these...
