Eastry Hospital - 29/07/06

[Maidstone Trooper]

Visited this place yesterday with "Delver", and "The Chin". Was a good explore, with most of the site untouched by vandals.

Loads of Ivy growing through walls, and windows made this place quite atmospheric. High winds banging doors and windows added to the visit, keeping us on our toes throughout.

Only posting a few pics here, as there are others on the forum that are better than my amateur shots.

Also visited Eastry hospital with the ‘Maidstone Trooper’ and ‘The Chin’. Nice site and yeh it certainly is deceptively big! Saw no sign of security and relatively easy access so turned out to be a chilled little explore.

My highlight turned out to be the huge old Victorian safe and the kitchen. Didn’t see the boiler room tho :( . Also very little signs of vandalism yet, except in the one place with police tape and gun shots – rather concerning!

Will certainly go back tho, still a lot more to see!
