View Full Version : Archived Report - Herbert's Culvert

Found by myself and Raddog, and named after the founder of the famous car plant that the river runs beneth.
The culvert is a of cut and cover construction, and runs for a good distance. About half way is a large dog leg, and this has trapped much rubble and debris, making the water downstream much deeper and logged with silt. Towards the end the silt was extremly deep and I sunk to above my wader top:eek:

A good explore and the culvert was much better than I thought it would be. Pics are quite poor as we did not have the best equipment... more soon.
