Visted the West Cheshire Asylum (Deva) today, for a short visit with 4737carlin. Found the access easy enough, thanks to benWRX for the heads up. Didn't go in the annexe, and headed to the main building. Unconventional way in, due to it pissing down and making the first access slippy as fuck.
Wandered around the ground floor, and stumbled across the alarmed/active corridor. Seems to start at the health records office?
Went down the dark corridor, and decided exploring that way wasnt best due to the lights on and signs everywhere (including a few payphones lying on the floor?!). Accessed the tower, and climbed the pigeon infested ladder - scaring the flying rats shitless. Swerved the basement for another trip.
We then backtracked a little to some stairs, and explored the upper wards including what was obviously a medical supply room - bits and pieces everywhere! Short but good trip, only to walk outside right back into the pissing rain!
