I'm not sure of this little river's name. It flows into the Abbey park and I think eventually the Sour. It is not strictly underground, but runs below ground level in a brick and concrete channel, passing under many a bridge tunnel and pipe. As with the river Raye, I enjoy looking at the industrial architecture which follows the shape, and even passes over the river.
The river was the most packed with randemness I have yet to see! Bikes, both vintage and modern, full tins of dogfood, pound coin, 1960's dinky toys, CD player complete with CD's!
I also bumped into a Banksy wannabe, and a group of lads who were very interested in my waders... when I had explained where to buy a pair, the cost and various discussions of comfort and grip issues I was bid farewell with "safe man"... reassuring, even though I had not felt that unsafe before:p

This river's card count was 14, not breaking the river Sherbourne's 16 but a close second!!
