Unlike most of the places I explore, this one I have actually been to when it was in use. My first memories of a child are from this place. I must of been no more than 3 or 4 years old but I remember it being bustling with people, everyone of all ages having lots of fun in an outdoor unheated swimming pool (you wouldn't find that any more unfortunately) I remember being there when the tide was in breaking over the walls that back on to the bay.

I must of gone about 6 times in a few years and they were spent as great days out. I'm really happy I managed to experience it as a lot of children today do not have the same opportunities.

Since this place closed in the early 90's it has remained disused with lottery funding spent on a new leisure facility less than 100 meters away but 1 or 2 years ago it also closed down. I suppose the 99% of old fogies who live in Grange don't like swimming lol.

The Lido is virtually locked down all buildings are bricked up due to kids climbing in and anti climb paint surrounds the promenade front.

Sorry for babbling on a bit, here are my pics...
