Hi,
I've been searching for ages for the Holy Grail of camera bags and I already own a few different bags for different circumstances but the real gap I have at the moment is for a bag that will hold:
Canon 50D with 18-50mm attached. Canon 70-300mm lens. Canon Speedlite 580EXII (pref. with bounce diffuser attached). Handful of accessories. Dell Mini 9 Netbook
It's a tough call, I already have a nice Tamrac bag that will hold the first four (although it does bulge a bit with too many accessories) but it'd be really nice for remote or urban shoots to carry the Dell Mini and 3G stick so I can get on the web.
I've asked this question before on Flickr and all people seem to keep coming up with is camera/laptop bags but as far as I'm concerned they're all too big (I already have a CompuTrekker). The Dell Mini 9 is about half the size of a 13" Macbook and that's the smallest size most bags cater for, this not only makes the frame of the bag much larger but also results in a lot of wasted space.
As far as form-factor goes I'd really prefer a two-strap shoulder bag / rucksack because the weight is pretty hefty with all that stuff.
If anyone could help it'd be much appreciated!
Cheers, TFS.
