Yeh, I got the same one, I've e-mailed them to ask 'em if it'll be reorganised at some future date, and to ask if we'll have to re-apply for tickets if so, or will the allocation still stand...

I've had a reply,

"It has been cancelled as our chief engineer has to undergo
heart surgery and will not be available.

We will arrange another event for next year, but sadly the 2009 event has
been cancelled, as we really needed him for the day.

Sorry about the cancellation of our HODS DAY as our Chief Engineer has to go in for surgery (only just been told) so we will do this event next year.

The work on Area 7 has also started and is on schedule for 2012 opening but just might be sooner - Will keep you all posted.
