Ridge Quarry - June 2009

well what can i say, this is the first of a 2 part day

meet up with styru,root + 2 ladys( root is the king of the swing!! lol),bearclaw,budice and one of his mates

first up was ridge quarry, after meeting up at the pub and sorted out car sharing, we headed up to ridge.
we all got out and got kitted up only to walk round the corner and for me to come head on with the smallest of small holes to get through :banghead

now the last couple of weeks i have had a nightmare with small gaps and this little beauty wasnt going to beat me today.

so all in all a good morning out, had a good look round ridge and also some of the old workings

cheers to all that came and help make the day what it was :thumb

went straigh in to the pub after for a nice pint also

I've just returned from down that way with Bubblehead and God, met up with Rigsby but we couldn't find Ridge, and someone already had the key out for Box, so we went to Browns instead. Which was still awesome to see.

I'd heard there was a tight squeeze involved with Ridge... I guess not anymore. :P

Good on you Tommo mate some nice photos there.
I had been to Ridge once before but i could not remember exactly where it was.
I would have got directions before i left but the original plan was to go to box.
I just looked on flash earth now and i must have missed the Monks lane turning. :banghead

just out of interest, where are these surveys purchased from, been down a few of the mines and Browns is next on the hit list.....
