As Ogof bought my Voigtlander thought I had better replace it with another rangefinder from the same era........:thumb

Looks very nice! :thumb
There is quite an upsurge in interest surrounding older film cameras at the moment. It is always worth bearing in mind just how many really convincing fakes there are out there (not this one - it ticks all the 'genuine' boxes)

There's a lot of Zorkis and Feds that are engraved to look like screw-mount Leicas...but barely any Russian copies had the slow speed dial on the front like the real Leicas did.

Old rangefinders are lush, I love my Super paxette from the late 30's early 40's era. they have a certain somthing about the way the lenses weren't faithfull.
Old Leica's are the lushest though.

True, but there were a few, all (as far as is known) produced in 1999
I own one (it's been in my parents spare room for quite a few years - must reclaim it and put some more film through it)
Identical to the first one shown on THIS (http://www.cameraquest.com/rusky2.htm) page. (I'm not 100% - but I think even the serial number is identical :banghead )
Guaranteed to fool anyone that thinks they know Leicas (and guarenteed not to fool anyone that actually knows them, as they include features never found on the real thing:p)

Thanks all, I'll post up some updated pics with a new Leitz Summicron 50mm f/2 dual range, and its Leicatime leather half case with grip, shortly

yep, there are still loads of the "Luftwaffe" pattern fakes doing the rounds - pity really, the black body ones would be a lovely little camera without the 'Nazi' shit:
