North Weald Mobilisation Fort 1/10/06

Well here goes for my first report:

Firstly thanks to Clayderman for suggesting this to me.

It was the first proper exploration I have done (ie not just a local site I have been familiar with most of my life). And a good test for my new camera as im still trying to work out how to use the thing. First stop for me and my girlfriend was Halfords to buy a torch (came in handy in the end). then a 20 minute drive and we where there.

Managed to find the site no probs and access was blatantly obvious. Although I had seen pics of this place before in another report on here I still didnt really know what to expect. the site was fairly big with nature reclaiming alot of the surface features etc. Think we managed to cover everything there although fairly quickly due to the weather getting a bit nasty.
