We made a visit to this site earlier on today. Access is actually fairly hard - the fence is big and intact, and there are plenty of houses around.
Didn't get any of the bad vibes stuff other people have said about, though it did stink in a few places. The Downe House place next door appear to be using it for storage though, as does someone who is moving house.
