I've never done a report on this, but it's always been one of my fav's so thought I would and I've put it up on my site under a new 'steeplejack' page.
Me and Turk had our eyes on this for ages, but we went one night an VERY nearly got beaten up by chavs, so we ran away and went home!! I was in Leicester the next week an noticed a door open to a higher roof level. Sure enough it was the first ladder at the top. Some woman asked what I was doing, but she was satisfied with "TAKING PICS..." 37 ladders later I was almost at the tip of the spire. Had we have done it the week before we would have made the very tip, but they had started to dismantle it. Still amazing and the views were out of this world!!
