Visited with Rookie, Appo & JimmyHalfway...

After visiting Sidedraught Induction twice in the past it was time for me to complete it fully with pictures but also to continue downstream with the Gore Brook to have a wander through both parts of Supercharger.

If you complete all three sections in one explore you encounter a nice mix of Brick/Stone piping, RCP, Square concrete sections, A small water fall, Sewage processor, A gripper, Wooden overflow controls, Overflow chamber & Penstock Controls.

Leaving Sidedraught we continued downstream in search for Supercharger passing many onlookers with a look of disbelief as 4 guys wadered past in a dirty brook...

Myself

Just before you emerge from the outfall of Part B there are two rectangle concrete at water level, After climbing under these we walked down some RCP to this first chamber.

does anyone know what the processor does in supercharger B?
are these pipes at the ceiling water? or do they measure gas levels?

Morse, its for sieving the poop out of the sewerfresh when it overflows into the lovely Moston Brook.

As for the pipe, thats a sewer. And as for gases, it was ok when I went back, must have been a pocket of bad air when we went.

Its the Gore Brook, from my observation a fair few culverts around Manchester seem to have poo processor/overflows strapped onto them.

ah kk thx

but the pipe, didnt mean the sewer pipe, but the blue small pipes at the ceiling of the processor. they got something weird sticking out of them as well
