Visited today with Robsey, Indy and Rookinella, big nod to Markr for the lead.
Markr put this up on here a few weeks ago, I thought it had been demolished in 1994, but that is when it closed... I was born here so as soon as I knew it was still intact I had to get up here!
After nearly killing Me,Rookinella and the occupants of two other cars on the way up, my body was yearning for more adreneline!
Access was very straight forward, and I am suprised that no one has actually done this site before, it is really intact, although many windows are smashed, it is pretty bare, but it was a good explore, as was RAF Upper Heyford, I am beginning to think that the military dont leave much behind when the leave!
I recommend this it is massive and worth the trip alone, however be aware it is right next to a live military installation, security are on site and did catch us (as I was climbing through a window into the morgue) :rolleyes: A quick scarper and hide tactic was employed which worked to good effect and prevented us from being caught.
Rookinella was feeling unwell so we split, but Robsey and Indy went back to get the morgue, I havent heard back from them yet so I hope it all went to plan.
