visited with thompski. later joined by j3bu, mortaldecay and ric.
hmmmmmm what more can i say?? first discovered by Scott and Snappel, and i have too say its not where you think!! it took a few weeks of lid popping by mortaldecay to find this one!!
35' down a manhole shaft lies the flume, a VERY big overflow pipe with a v shaped bottom to make a channel, and a curved roof. on following the pipe upstream it takes to a HUGE overflow room, with a controllable gate to divert flow and possibly the craziest flow of sewerfresh running through it that i have ever seen!! it really has to be seen to be believed!!

anyhow, pressing on toward the roaring noise of the CSO, its not long before it comes into view and O M F G. this is unbeleivable!!

the diverter, this thing must have been 4 tons and was lowered electrically on motors from the room above!!
