Visited here this morning with "The Chin". Bit of a follow up by a trip made with "Delver" where we met security. Guy was cool and said in future we should go see him first.
So decided to give this a try, and after a quick re-aquaitance at the security house, we asked where we should park, and he said no worries drive staright in. So we did. With this site being so massive driving up made this a lot easier than the last time we visited.
As per other reports, there is no way into the mansion, but the work houses are nice and easy, and we managed to see the kitchens, laundry, and the boiler house. All these areas are in pretty good condition with original equipment in place which made for good photo opportunities.
Still have not made it up the clock tower or into the main hall, but all in all a great trip, made better by being able to ramp around the site in the car. A few pics, but tried to make them a bit different than other photos on the site.
