Didn't know where to put this info but have just seen on London Tonight that this tunnel is now gonna be taken on by Crossrail so anyone who wants to have a looksi should get down there soon.

That's interesting to see a public announcement. When I went down there was Crossrail signage in evidence but I don't believe a firm announcement had been made regarding the tunnel. Presumably there'll be 25kV overhead power, in which case they'll be digging downwards. They might even uncover the little 'package' I left down there.

When I was there couple of months ago it was clear work was starting.. Generators at either end, temporary lighting through out and a H&S check point at the top.

This has been in the public domain since the Crossrail plans were finalised?

Was the reason behind the thread.... Not letting others know that Crossrail were taking it over. Even so, not everyone would have known that.
