Awsome :wanker

We had someone who left a briefcase full of a months worth of work at a military site, needless to say there wasn't much left after the controled explosion :D

I'm a bit lost as to why the bloke got cautioned? For what? Doing something perfectly legal that set some stupid woman into a panic and then the bomb squad overreacted? I'm a bit lost!

Brilliant - perfect ammo against the missus who says I should do geocaching instead as it's safer...

Oh dear... I bet the RLC chaps had a laugh about it when they found out what they'd blown up! :p

They probably knew damn well what it was before they blew it up, but they have to justify their budget.

Employee: I have done it, but the army blew it up!
Boss: You're FIRED!!

You have to agree to a caution, therefore he's a retard, but to be more realistic, some point-chasing cop probably scared him into taking it, or 'go to court under ant-terror' law.

I once accidentally left a carrier bag of Jammie Dodgers and slightly out of date Custard Creams on the bus, a few months after 7/7. Always wondered what happened when they found it.

Why out of date? How long can you leave biscuits without stuffing em in! Last 10 minutes with me tops?

Seriously thou, this lunch box and accepting a caution. I would have told them to scurry down poundland and get me another.

What a complete load of cobblers, blowing up a bush... Pfft.

I found em whilst exploring my pantry, behind some equally ancient bran flakes and pasta. More of a cake person myself.

Unless the last person to find the blown up box was the person to put it there, getting a caution seems rather harsh to me but then the police never have seemed very good at gauging levels of appropriateness.

I've got a nice photo somewhere of one of my tool cases after the Italian police shot it. Note to self, attach security documents to case with more sticky tape next time.

Yeah, take the caution or go to court, thats the usual ploy! Another criminal caught! :wanker

Although there is a serious side to all this.

If it had been a bomb, and if it had gone off in Wetherby.....

..... it could have caused thousands of pounds worth of improvements.

I thought it was silly. but it is even sillier than I imagined apparently this is the geocache in question:

After reading that geocachers class us lot as reckless kids I will be taking a poo in any lunch boxes I find, might make things awkward at work but I have principals to uphold
