A question for ordnance mybe: When did we get rid of all the war stock from the cold war?

I've been seeing a lot of 432's come up for sale, all with the standard 60 miles on the clock, surely they haven't been held for this long?

The green goddesses went around 2003? So I imagine everything else went around then too!

See, its a bit of a turn on for me, all that juicy kit, just left in warehouses waiting for war, Chieftains, cvrt's, 432's etc. Started once every 2 weeks and moved around for an hour. Kit 20-30 years old like new in some cases, so I've heard... the juices flow Come on, who doesn't get weak at the knees.

Led to believe any life expired kit these days gets sold to Zimbabwe, Iraq, or Argentina... Or of course our shadow lurking friend, the scrapman!
