Chance find... I just cant believe these keep turning up! The building is well over 100 years old, and completley unchanged inside. All of the moulds are still on the racks, along with cream jugs, gravy boats, full tea and dinner services, pudding basons, tea pots, egg cups...the works. Part of the building has collapsed and the rest looks like it is deteriating fast.
Still on the benches are the transfer patterns and the tools of the 'maker' and 'glazer'. Glaze is still in the pots, dried solid. Really atmospheric and so very much left in situ!
