This is an old house with a lot of character. The walls downstairs are about two and a half foot thick, so it was built to last. Could`nt find much about the history of this place on the net, though it was obviously owned by the local moneybags. Looking at the facade with the detailing to the stone, there was a lot of effort put into style and design. A place to look impressive to your guests as they pulled up in their carriages. Well at least the front is impressive. The back looks like a block of flats, it`s that exciting. Not much internally as it has extensive fire damage, but it is a big house and must have been fantastic to visit in it`s heyday. Cocktails on the veranda anyone?
