cossie nick and myself went down to crank just to check it out. the majority of the caverns are open, but there is one which has 2 steel fences blocking the entrance. both with gates, so im guessing they may be used for rescue training or something?
there was a few different routes to take once we were inside. looks like kids have been in too as there was painted names on the wall and the odd beer can etc.
theres some tight squeezes down there...
