A small exsplore with jackal
Havent been up to these caves for years, but as our main aim off the day didnt pay off we thought we would have a climb up to these for a few pictures.
Would of thought these were used by smugglers back in the day as the town was rife with it.
During the war there was a gun emplacement on the top and have found on the web that people use to sleep in them during air raid attacks.
Nowdays by the state of them there used for the local scabs to drink in and get mashed :(
After following the rabbit path it leads you 2 the steepest cliff railway in Britain.On to the roof of the engine shed to get some pics of it the maintance man pops his head out "what are you doing" i tell him im taking pictures and that ill be on my way, he replies with a "ok just wonderd what was on the roof" then tells me to take care that i dont fall off, what a decent chap :D
