After a few mentions of this place, and talks of a trip, myself, Raddog and Dweeb took a drive here today.

Let me start by saying if you like this kind of stuff (coal history etc) then you will LOVE this place. Its the most fantastic site, its had a lot of natural decay, and some human damage, but it still has a fantastic atmosphere.

The bath house, stores, winding house and headstocks are all do-able with care. Beware, without being sensible (to a degree) you could easily injure yourself badly, if not die.
