History
This was the oldest independent brewery in Nottinghamshire, it's heritage dates back to 1832.

Originally opened by Samuel Robinson. This was later bought by William and Thomas Hardy in 1857.

Stephen Hanson built a rivaling brewery in 1847.

In 1930 the Hardys and Hansons, due to pressure from larger brewing companies, decided to combined their companies.

In 2006 this site was sold to Greene King Brewery, who then proceed to close the site for good.

The Visit
This was a somewhat unplanned explore as a result we had no clue on ways in so spent 45 minutes wandering round the site trying to find an access point Ahh well that'll be my exercise for this week.

After much searching we found an access point no thanks to some rude scrap metal thieves/ nosey locals/ urbexers. *sigh* It doesn't cost anything to be polite

I apologize in advance for so many photos. Enjoy
