Central Hydraulic Pump(very pidgeon heavy)
Hydraulic engine house and tower was built 1868 and was designed by J.B. Hartley. Its was built for the use of pumping the water from the east and south side of Birkenhead float docks. The building has sat there derelict for sometime, but i have heard a small rumour that about 12million pounds will be spent on restoring the place into an hotel/pub . Nice rock-faced stone dressings on the tower then they didnt have the same idea for the rest of the building at the rear when, it was mostly rebuilt after bomb damaged the place in WWII.
Sorry if the pictures aren't up to standard yet only got a point and shoot had a fiddle in lightroom anyways
