After meeting up with Sinnerman, DangriousDave and his mate who's not on here yet we had a brief look at the Carmarthen Infirmary but as the road outside was like Lewisham High Street on a Saturday we decided against.

We then set off for Tenby and then the RNAD in Milford Haven to have a close look at the tunnels that were reported earlier and I must admit it all made for an excellent day out.

The buildings were completely trashed but there were some interesting signs and features.

Part of the fire supression system.

Then off to the tunnels.

They really wanted to keep us out of this one.
Dscf0443.jpg

Then we got to one that we could get into Slimmerman went first. ;)

There was a luminous strip running the full length of the tunnel so an ideal opportunity for some doodling with my HID torch.
Dscf0451.jpg

The chamber at the end was obviously where they stored the munitions and it was just massive.

There was also a hoist there that was in such good nick I would have thought if you had stuck some current on it you could have got it going.

Dscf0460.jpg

Dunno what this is but it formed some sort of barrier.
Dscf0464.jpg

A happy explorer

The way home.

All in all it was a great day out. DangerousDave shouldn't ever be considered for a job as a weather man and we all felt there was more to do there.

The yellow frames attached to the yellow pipes are carriers to store the flat hoses.
