I've known about this place for years but never ever made the 1.5 hour trip over. Then I seen SilverStealth's report (http://www.28dayslater.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=31420) in May about it and I HAD to get there soon! I've been twice now, the first time I got into everyone of the 6 buildings but didn't I forget my memory card at home so didn't get any pictures!

Second time I went I had to cut the trip down early cos the place was alive with travellers! I'm going to go back before they ruin the place but very early int he morning next time!

Anyway, The best building is by far the admin building which is virtually untouched pileld high with records, equipment and virtually untouched by scumbags! I'm unsure how long that will last!

Time for pics (Sorry about the hdr's but I really think they are worth posting!)

Wasn't there a fire here? Would love to see photos of the chapels

Ya there was a fire in July 2017 which destroyed the roof of this building. There are a good few other buildings on the site though. One is half redeveloped and the others are sheeted up. Since the fire the HSE and council have tried to keep it fairly tight alright. I’ll see what photos I have and maybe make a thread if they’re decent enough.
