This place is great!

Originally Packers Chocolates, the factory became Elizabeth Shaw, but I saw evidence of Goodies, Terrys, Cadburys and Lindt brands being produced here...

The Factory is a stunning building with glazed loading bays, which house elevated walkways to join the buildings together. It is a lovely mix of age old ironwork, but with a modern feel to it, as many buildings are built in thsi style today...

There was loads left to look at, muh of which took a little bit of attention to detail, but packaging, advertising, century old books and of course the chocolate itself was there to be seen.

Sadly the once very lavish admin was moderniesd as well as stripped. Tiny portions of mosaic floor as well as a very ornate banister were reminders that this was once a cracking victorian grand building...

At one point we were looking around the workshop when we heard voices. Locking ourselves in a small store room we sat and waited while the other visitors to the factory, whoever they were had a poke about in the same workshop before moving on to a different section of the building.

This place is a top explore and I would reccomend it to anyone!:thumb
