During the "Cold War" was all municipalities in Sweden are obliged by law to establish a command center for Civil Defense, a majority of municipalities followed the law and building command center protected by mountains, or in the form of concrete bunkers with equal protection.
Many of these command centers were built as early as the 50th century, and this particular facility was developed and built in 1951-1957 and was then ready to be put into service until 1990. Staffing at the actual service would be approximately 70 people.
In the autumn of 2009, an environmental remediation and plant entrances were closed forever
