Since my last report was pretty sh*t, thought I'd post this one instead, the last one was just something local and interesting to some...
I have made two visits to Gartloch, once near the start of the year but couldn't find the main attraction for myself, a second visit took place and after some graft and scary moments found what I came for.
Gartloch Aysulm opened in 1896 and closed in 1996 and was one of Glasgow biggest lunatic asylums.
Although many of the surrounding buildings have been converted into homes, the Catgory A listed administration building remains derelict.
The Main reason for my visit was to find the infamous ballroom, and it was some venture to get into it!
