the Lycian Rock Tombs date back about 2000 years and are a swine to climb up to in +35c temperatures I can assure you.
tourists get a view of these from boats on the river
and you are most definately not allowed to climb up to them.
visited by myself and my daughter toots.
the tombs are full of cists and big fookin spiders and even scorpians
inside most of the tombs were holes drilled to hold offerings
just to give you an idea of how tall these are
they are higher up than they look and the view from them is incredible
]
was worth while splore but way too hot to stay for long
