THE VISIT

Visited with a non-member, I visited back in july in the day time, so seeing everything in the dark, was a whole new experience! Lots of new buildings opened up, lots more been stripped and trashed though. Walked straight past the secca office with lights on, no problems at all! So my pics are just mainly of random things I found lying around!

HISTORY

'Royal Air Force Daws Hill or more simply RAF Daws Hill (Now listed Grade II by English Heritage) was a Royal Air Force station on the outskirts of High Wycombe, in Buckinghamshire, England.

An important part of US defence in the United Kingdom in the 1980s, the station was occupied by the United States Navy. It was home to a peace camp in 1982–1984.
Following a review of Ministry of Defence properties in the south-east of England, the station closed in 2007 and the site was sold to a property developer in 2011
