Visited here with the kids as the youngest is doing ww2 at school this year so we headed down for a few snaps. This is on my door step along with a lot of other interesting sites in the local woodland/brooklands.

Borrowed this from another thread.
A small air raid shelter thought to have protected the workers at a WW2 dispersed production site; Foxwarren, for for Vickers-Armstrongs near to Brookland Airfield and Foxwarren Park. The site had associations with the bouncing bomb.

Cheers buddy. The kids loved it. Would have loved to see the vickers one but it's totally sealed and secure now and used as a wine store.

I prefer wine to WW2 history classes these days, but I have been where you are man, when my bigguns were littluns in school and there is nothing like a field trip :)

Wow that's almost right next to where I work - best go exploring me thinks.

Btw - I work in the building right on top of the site where the bouncing bomb was tested on models. Sadly nothing of that exists at all, and the new building, for me at least, is a very depressing place to be.
