So the main one i wanted to do in London seeing as too late to do battersea. This was a revisit, the first time a failure as far too busy on site with contractors, development work is well underway now. After the disappointment of last time, four hours on site, two of which spent hiding in bushes from workers and security had to get in this time! Thought Sunday, should be quite and no one working... well that plan didnt really work... quite a few people around on site when we arrived. Sacked it off and jumped back on the DLR and did Woolwich Military Academy, try again on the way back. On the way back was much better, seemed deserted. Legged it around the site and straight to what looked like a potential in, success! so happy after the previous times effort!
Spent a good couple of hours in there missioning around, since last time we went there has been loads of scaffolding put up on the outside and work is well underway, how much long there is to do this i dont know but think it wont be long before lot changes in there. Could see quite bit of difference in some of the shots on other reports to what it was like in there now. Just glad i got to see it!

Bit of history stolen from wiki but its been covered loads and then few shots... was getting dark towards the end as we were on our way out. Great day though!

The Millennium Mills is a derelict turn of 20th century flour mill in West Silvertown on the south side of the Royal Victoria Dock, between the Thames Barrier and the ExCel exhibition centre alongside the newly built Britannia village, in Newham, London, England.[2] Along with Millennium Mills, there remains a small section of the now destroyed Rank Hovis Premier Mill and a restored grade II listed grain silo, labelled the ‘D’ silo. Described as a "decaying industrial anachronism standing defiant and alone in the surrounding subtopia",[3] the Millennium Mills has become a well-loved icon of post-industrial Britain and has made its way into many aspects of popular culture, being used as a backdrop in films and television shows such as Ashes to Ashes and Derek Jarman's The Last of England. Millennium Mills is also a destination for Urban Explorers despite high security, dangers of structural weakness, ten-storey drops and asbestos, and there are many reports and internal photos of the site.

yeah it was a great visit, since i saw the london sites wanted to do it and after spending 2 hours hiding in a bush last time was just glad we did it.
the view from the roof is class, think going to go back one day when its nice as today was bit grim. the planes taking off from the airport were already in the clouds by the time they were overhead

ah no, didnt manage to find the fans! will have to go back and find them1

we first went on a week day, it was really busy! loads of work going on. they have put loads of scaffolding up in the last 3 weeks and looks like been bringing more plant equipment in. if your going to do it, do it soon or prob be gone!

ah right, was pretty dark by the time we finished and sort of stumbled across our exit. we'd headed for the top first this time.
