After an early morning wake up call, Picking up H1971 AuntieKnickers and myself heading down to Leeds. We arrived under darkness just, after doing a quick reece and spotted outdoor PIR sensors and (what looked new cabling) from alarm boxes and camera we made quick retreat back to public land to wait out and see if any secca arrived only to be verbually abused by 2 coloured youth shouted out what sums up to be "your upto no good up and around at this time of day". A few moments later back over the wall and another quick scout out and we was in. Only to be beaten and met by SammyDoubleWammy and 3 other explorers hiding behind a cuboard, With the quick intro's over we got on with the explore and this place did not let us down at all :)

History/Info...
Leeds Girls' High School (LGHS) was an independent, selective, fee-paying school for girls aged 3–18 founded in 1876 in Headingley, Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. The Infant School (Rose Court) was situated on the large Senior School site on Headingley Lane, while the Junior School (Ford House) operated 1 mile (1.6 km) down the road in a converted mansion house. The Senior School building was built in the early 1900s, and efforts are currently being made to have the building listed. The fine oak wood panelling in the Assembly Hall detailed where Old Girls went to university on completion of their education at LGHS. The furniture within the Senior School Library was designed by Robert Thompson (The Mouseman), but was sold when the school moved to Alwoodley Gates (the Leeds Grammar School site). It merged with Leeds Grammar School in 2005 to form the Grammar School at Leeds.

The school building was also used as a filming location for the fictional St Matthews' Hospital in the new ITV medical drama Monroe, which was scheduled for broadcast in 2011. The first episode was broadcast on ITV on 10 March 2011 to strong ratings. A second series followed in 2012. On 14 November 2012, it was announced that ITV had cancelled Monroe due to low viewing figures.

Up too no good around there  i like it lol

Another nice set mate :thumb

The Monroe series is being repeated on a Saturday morning at 2.05AM on ITV Encore. It"s really naff acting etc, but worth watching for the sets alone that you"ve wandering around today. And the vending machine is always the centre of attention, and probably the best actor in the thing :D

Do you mean there was "acting" actually on "monroe"???

Well according to the script i read.....not much at all, fully backed up by the last 2 episodes i"ve watched the last fortnight :D

I especially like the Lift that never moves and the low volume of beds in the smallest Hospital ward since the beginning of time.

That"s TV folks
