Archived Report - Lennox Castle, Lennoxtown - 23/03/08

Another fairly accessible building I'm afraid but I had always wanted to see this one. I used to live around this area so there was a bit of a mystique about the place and a fair bit of urban legend to beef it up too ^_^

Just wish I hadnt left it sooooooo late as there isnt much left to see. The mini village of houses is long gone, now Celtics training ground, and the main building is in tatters. Pretty much all the floors have fallen through, down multiple levels in many places, and the floors that are left dont give you much hope of hold up long enough to get you across them - yup, I chickened out of trying a few of them.
