Hey guys - I'm a New Yorker who was in town for a few days in late January. I know other people have climbed the old stock exchange in the City, but I couldn't find anything on this site, so I figured I'd throw up a couple photos from my climb. My buddy Steve (
www.undercity.org), who's a great photographer, had to bail back to New York early, so I only have my amateur Olympic D-Series shots.
I have to say, I really liked the vantage point because it's right on the nexus of all the new skyscrapers on the East side of the City, and the old part where they aren't building anything new on the West. If you go, make sure to get up to the crane platform, where you can get a great view of the Tower Bridge you can't get from just the roof.
Also headed into Stonehenge after hours which was pretty cool. I idiotically started taking flash photos (only one of which was even mildly presentable - below), so the guards saw me and kicked me out.
