The Odeon in Lochee was opened way back in 1993,in Dundees Lochee Area under a Urban Regeneration program called the Stack Complex, this replaced a part of Lochee which was dominated by the former Cox Jute Mill,at one time the largest in the world, the Jute Mill was turned into housing, and the Cox stack was the centre point of the complex,as it could be seen from almost any point in the city, sadly the idea fell well short of expectations, and almost all buildings were shut,by March 2001 the Odeon was shutdown and moved to Douglasfield in Dundee.
There is no lighting inside the building, and all stairwells are all destroyed, for rateable reasons
