First report so please be gentle.

Sunday morning saw a trot over to Sheffield with shatners leading the way, hoping to take in the Courts and George Barnsley. Very worthwhile trip managed to do both sites.

Great little place this a real timewarp almost untouched in places but decaying in others due to the neglect. Worthwhile making the effort and seeing it looks like it's soon to become apartments.

George Barnsley & Sons Ltd was opened 1836 and made tools for shoe makers and leather workers, it closed in 2003 I believe due to outdated working practices and competition.

    Easier getting out than in:)

    Thanks for looking.
