Cregg and I tripped over to the Black Country to spot a few sites that Speed & Clebby had uncovered recently. One we weren't so successful with due to exposure and vandal grease, this one was a different story. Full of charm and still packed with machinery and drawings etc. One of many drop forging shops in the locality that we saw following our drive around avoiding potholes and speed bumps.

Absolutely spot on place. Machinery is boss and the drawings and knick knacks were prime for a rummaging.

That's great, and you don't see many drawing boards like that anymore...

Definitely worth a visit, seems to be in a state of semi demolition so I'd be swift if you do.

The drawings were interesting, although many were large 1:1 scale component sheets so didn't contain much detail. The slides were of modern (1990's) drop casting frames.

Drawing board was ace, used to work on them way back as an apprentice draughtsman, as always sweet photos.
