Some interesting stuff there, including this...
Never even thought that it was once an actual proper town!

One not listed is West End which was flooded in 1966 during the construction of Thruscross Reservoir in the Washburn valley, lying north of Otley and west of Harrogate in North Yorkshire, England. The remains of a flax mill can be seen at the edge of the reservoir, and more of the village has been revealed at times of drought, such as the summers of 1989/90 - The cemertary and headstones were re-located on high ground near Greenhow Hill Road.

I am sure there are far far more than the few listed!

I walked around this village in the dry summer of 1991, was an interesting stroll alas without a camera!
